About UnderTen
UnderTen is a small, friendly card game built for one thing: a quick game with friends that anyone can join in a minute.
The idea
Lots of families have a "get your hand low and call it" card game. The rules change from house to house, and teaching a new player usually takes longer than the first round. UnderTen keeps the part everyone loves, the nervous moment when someone declares and the hands are turned over, and trims the rest: one target (under 10), one kind of set (same rank), and a 12-turn limit so no round drags.
The rules were tested with thousands of simulated games, to check that rounds end at a good pace and that declaring early is a real risk rather than an automatic win.
How low can you go?
The game's look comes from limbo. The mascot is Benny, a playing card in a coral sweatband who bends under the bar. The lower your winning hand, the lower Benny goes, and a hand of 1 earns him gold "Legend" status.
What you can do here
- Play a quick match at a table of four.
- Open a private room for 2 to 6 friends with a code, a link or a QR code.
- Practise against bots.

Free, with ads between games
UnderTen is free to play. The site is funded by advertising shown in the breaks between games. There are no ads at the table while a round is being played, and there are no accounts. The privacy policy explains what little information the game uses.
Who makes it
UnderTen is designed and built by Shubh Chopra, the independent developer behind Risky Rolls, a dice game for phones. Apps for iPhone and Android are in the works.
