Privacy policy
Last updated 6 October 2026. This policy covers the UnderTen website and the UnderTen app for iPhone.
What UnderTen keeps
- The name you type and your settings (sound, colour) are saved on your device only (in your browser on the web, in the app on iPhone and Android).
- To play online, the game signs you in anonymously with Google Firebase. Rooms, seats, moves and hands are stored in Firebase while a game runs and deleted within about a day. There are no accounts, emails or passwords.
- Google Analytics for Firebase records how the game is used (for example, games started and rounds finished) so we can improve it.
- In the iPhone and Android apps, Firebase Crashlytics sends us a report when the app crashes (the device model, the iOS or Android version and where in the app it happened) so we can fix it.
- The iPhone and Android apps include the Meta (Facebook) SDK. It tells Meta when the app is installed, opened and used, and about purchases, so we can measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram. On iPhone it uses your device's advertising identifier only if you allow tracking; on Android you can reset or delete the advertising ID in Settings, under Privacy, Ads. See Meta's privacy policy.
Ads
UnderTen is free and paid for by ads from Google (AdSense on the website, AdMob in the app). Google and its partners use cookies, your device's advertising identifier and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and, where you allow it, personalise them based on your activity on this and other sites and apps.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.
- On iPhone the app asks before it uses your device's advertising identifier. You can change your answer in Settings, under Privacy & Security, Tracking.
- You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ad Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors at aboutads.info.
- Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Children
UnderTen is a general audience game and is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
Clearing your browser's site data for undertengame.com, or deleting the app, removes everything the game saved on your device.
Purchases
UnderTen Plus is bought through Apple on iPhone and iPad, and through Google Play on Android. Apple or Google handles the payment, and we never see your card or billing details.
